Your Holiday Treat: Pomegranate Champagne

Two years ago, I started throwing pomegranates on everything, couscous, salads, my drinks… Yep, my drinks.  That year, my mother and I began a new Christmas tradition of having Pomosas. We kept repeating jokes to each other about all the antioxidants packed into the drink, so it had to be healthy.  Here is the very simple, maybe a bit obvious, but wonderful holiday drink.

Pomosa: Pomegranate Champagne

  • 1 tb of pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup of pomegranate juice, preferably a denser one such as Pom.
  • Champagne

Place the pomegranate seeds in the glass, add juice, then top with champagne.
